More than 2,000 people from Second Baptist Church, Houston, Texas, gathered at Discovery Green in the heart of Houston to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. The purpose of Dance Your Shoes Off! was to proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ in a powerful and celebratory way. Most importantly, each participant left a new pair of shoes on the field for those in need. These shoes will be given to local mission agencies, including Star of Hope, individuals all across the world through our mission partners and mission trips. HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THIS IS YOUR LAST DAY ON EARTH ? HEAVEN OR HELL ?

      “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

  Galatians 2:16 KJV

   God has done everything possible so that we don’t have to go to Hell. The Bible says, ” Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:” Matthew 25:41 KJV  God created Hell for the Devil and his Angels and if you go there it is by your own choice. Nobody has to go to Hell ! In this terrible day of the Lord in this tribulation period, Habakkuk cried out in chapter 3, “O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2 KJV  Why doesn’t God just let it all happen at once instead of dragging it out for seven years ? Because He wants to scare the wrath out of the people. What more can God do to save you ? He has done absolutely everything in His will from Adam throughout to keep us from going to Hell. God did not create Hell for us, He created it for the Devil and his Angels. And if anybody is there, they are there by their own choice. In the Bible God says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 KJV  God became flesh and came into this world to die on the cross to pay for our sins and sent His Holy Spirit to draw us to Himself. Everybody knows that they need to be drawn to God to make the decision to give up your sinful life and give your life to Jesus Christ. Because God does this for every one of us. The Bible says, “Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?” Ezekiel 18:23  KJV  He doesn’t want anybody to die or suffer, but we live in a cursed world and it is our own fault. It started all the way back with our great great great-grandfather and grandmother Adam and Eve. We forfeited the right to the Devil and we gave him rule of the Earth, and he is the prince now of this presence world, but he won’t forever. Jesus has paid the price and met the requirements of Redemption of our souls, but of all creation. There will be a day when there will be no more thorns and a day with no more death or natural disasters. If you give your life to Christ you will live in paradise forever. You say how much longer ? God says, just a little bit longer. There are more to be saved. The Bible says, “And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind. And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.” Revelation 6:12-14 KJV  God is going to shake to whole world. What John see’s in this chapter is a panorama from the beginning to the end, and the next to last seal being loosed is the shaking of the world. In the Bible it says, “See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.”  Hebrews 12:25-26 KJV  The words indicate what can be shaken be removed and created things that has not been shaken can remain. At this point, which is the great tribulation,  the great men, rich men, the kings,  the prince’s and mighty men will cry out because it will get so bad they will say let the mountains fall upon us. The Bible says, ” Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.” Luke 23:30 KJV  As they cried out for the rocks to fall upon them, the Bible says, “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” Revelation 6:17 KJV  All the great men, rich and mighty, all they could do is hide in caves and rocks. The Bible says, “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:1-2 KJV  There is only one way you will stand against the wrath of God, and that is by the grace of God. Nobody deserves heaven. You can be as good as a person can be and do all good works and never make it to heaven. That’s why Jesus Christ took your place and paid it all for you. He paid the price and we should be over flowing with thankfulness because you stand in the face of the wrath of God, and the wrath of God will not touch you, unless you put your trust and faith in Jesus Christ. And when that day of tribulation when the rocks start falling and the mountains shake who will be able to stand ? The person that gives his life to Jesus Christ. In all the wrath, God will remember mercy. God is not willing that none of us perish. He doesn’t want you or anybody to go to Hell. Don’t think that you will have a second chance during the tribulation period. The Bible says, “And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.” Revelation 6:7-8 KJV  That is more people killed than all the wars combined. How do you know that you won’t be one of them. Are you willing to take to chance and say, I am just going to wait to the tribulation to be saved. That is foolish thinking because how do you know you are not going to die today ? If you have never given your life to Jesus Christ, and you are not saved, how do you know this might be the last day of Earth ? If the Holy Spirit is drawing you near now, don’t wait any longer. Open up your heart to Jesus Christ, because He is the One that shed His blood on the cross for your sins so you could have that free gift of eternal life with Him. Amen
