Today’s Devotional

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16 KJV

Thoughts on Today’s Verse…..

Today as millions of us are buying and giving cards to our loved ones, we need to stop and think about the one person that truly loves us.  That is God. You see, He didn’t have to send a card to us to show His love.  He sent His only begotten Son, and He put all of our sins on the cross and died for us so that we could have everlasting life.  Now that’s what I call LOVE.  If you truly do believe in Him and confess of your sins you can have the precious gift of eternal life in Heaven. In Romans 10:9 it says “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”  So you have to be able to have FAITH in Jesus Christ.  Faith is the key word, without Faith none of this I have talked about means anything.  So put your trust and Faith in Jesus Christ today,  for He is the one that will Love you.  So when you go out and get a card today, think of Jesus Christ your Savior,  for He will Love you always.  Amen

Today’s Prayer…..

Dear Heavenly Father, please help me keep loving you every day as you love me. I do believe that you died on the cross to pay for my sins and rose from the dead three days later so that I could have eternal life in Heaven.  I thank you every day for this and I pray that you will help me follow your Commandments as I walk with you. Amen
